The R22 is the most popular ship for training purposes. It is a two seat helicopter that is affordable for students looking to get started. A great way to talk one-on-one with a seasoned pilot, about your goals and what it’s like to learn to fly!

If you are interested in being a commercial pilot, training in the R44 is a good way to log hours that will serve you as a commercial pilot. It is a heavier ship with more power and ability.
Every commercial pilot should have experience flying a Turbine helicopter. But even if a Private Pilot’s License is your final goal, you will need to have experience flying the R66 if you would like to rent it for personal use.
